Posting Summary
The Fellowship Administrator will guide highly motivated, academically talented students in learning about fellowship opportunities. Additionally, the administrator will assist students with completion of all components of the application processes. The administrator will: Maintain and disseminate up-to-date information about a range of relevant fellowship opportunities and application requirements; Develop and sustain relationships with representatives from fellowship-sponsoring organizations; Track data on Rutgers-Newark students applying to and receiving fellowship awards; Create processes and procedures for managing fellowship applications and awards; Coordinate with internal fellowship application processes as necessary.Additionally, the administrator will collaborate with other Rutgers-Newark staff and units to administer special fellowship opportunities and programs, including but not limited to participating in activities such as reviewing applicant materials and selecting awardees. S/he will participate in activities with other Rutgers -Newark units to ensure access to fellowship opportunities and support for students.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
Master's degree required. Ph.D. strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must. Previous experience in administering fellowship and scholarship applications.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requires knowledge about RU-N's undergraduate curricula and student resources to assist students in applying for external fellowships and scholarships.
