What you will do
We are looking for a Director, Systems Development Leader to be part of a team to develop a long-term view and drive new initiatives across PGIMs various business units. As a Systems Development Leader, you will provide guidance and leadership to the project team as well as manage the technical landscape. You will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to maintain and enhance a modern Marketing Technology stack.
This position is based in Newark, NJ and will follow a hybrid schedule (2 days in office). Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.
What you can expect
Lead a team that develops and implements Marketing Technology solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability
Provide strong leadership to the team, with an emphasis on talent management and development
Partner with Marketing Product owners to set a long term strategic roadmap that aligns with business goals
Responsible for multiple IT Service Management process areas related to Problem Solving, Enhancements, Requests, Releases, Configurations, Code Deployment, Build, and Access,
Ensure processes are well defined, documented and properly communicated throughout the organization
What you will bring
10+ years experience managing technology teams in a high paced environment
10+ years experience operating in Business as Usual (BAU) technology teams
Deep understanding of agile methodology, reporting, and execution
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies

Experience in production support, issue escalation and resolution
Ability to communicate and partner with senior leaders and clients
Manage large and complex technology teams

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $160,000 to $180,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
