Posting Summary | The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the Section of Neuropathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for performance of Neuropathology laboratory services at University Hospital - the school's 519 bed tertiary care core teaching hospital as well as in our standalone Neuropathology laboratory at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, New Jersey's only Neuropathology laboratory, providing diagnosis of muscle and nerve biopsies, as well as brain cutting consultations. The successful candidate will be a member of the Neuropathology team, consulting with clinical staff, as well as an active participant in the educational programs of the Department including teaching medical students, residents, and will be expected to engage in productive research activities. In addition, participation on the autopsy service will be required. Subspecialty expertise in an area of surgical pathology, such as head and neck pathology, ophthalmic pathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, breast pathology, thoracic pathology, etc. is desirable, but not required.To apply, please submit a curriculum vitae, a letter outlining your interests and experience and the names of three (3) references (references will not be contacted prior to selection of the candidate as a finalist) to: Valerie A.
