Job Summary:

The SDLC, Agile Coach is a member of the Enterprise Business Technology Solutions (EBTS), Strategy and Enablement team and is a subject matter expert providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to drive our Agile transformation. This key role will guide and train the EBTS organization as it adopts Agile values and practices to enhance their delivery of critical business initiatives. The Agile Coach is an organizational change agent who embraces an Agile mindset and cultivates it throughout the organization.

Practitioner and Practice Coach

Maintains industry expertise and certifications in Agile methodologies, leverages knowledge to drive best practices. Coach software delivery teams in the application of modern development practices. Champion Agile principles, scrum practices, and overall operating model effectiveness across the organization. Lead Agile workshops to drive adoption of standard practices and ceremonies Foster collaboration and drive cultural change within and across Agile teams. Defines KPI's, leverages measures and metrics to drive effectiveness. Recruits and partners with Agile evangelists across EBTS to promote continual learning and maturity of Agile practices.

Training and Development

Create and maintain the enterprise Agile learning roadmap to support Horizon's adoption strategy. Develop and manage the Agile Training/University program. Designing training curriculum, materials, and exams. Conduct Agile training classes, both in-person and virtual, for staff of all levels. Facilitate learning through workshops, meet-ups, and team building activities. Teach participants to interpret Agile productivity measures and understand options for improving velocity. Define KPIs and metrics to assess effectiveness. Communicates progress against objectives. Establish trusted working relationships with IT and business colleagues while advancing the level of Agile maturity in the organization. Embrace and model the concept of continuous learning for others.

HSD or GED required, Bachelor degree preferred 4+ years' experience in using Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, RUP, SAFe). Experience with implementing enterprise Agile transformation programs.

Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:

One or more Agile certifications preferred e.g. PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, CSP, (or similar).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Working knowledge of and experience using Jira and Confluence Ability to tailor coaching techniques to individuals as needed Knowledge of Agile engineering practices including DevSecOps CI-SD Pipelines Ability to manage hybrid environments during Agile transition/adoption. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts in business terms. Strong emotional intelligence and organizational awareness with the ability to challenge status quo and influence outcomes. Team builder mentality

Salary Range:

$106,400 - $145,215

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
