What to Expect:

  • Develop a high performing leadership team and promotes team concepts, diversity and inclusion, coaching, counseling, mentoring, training, talent / succession management, and individual development.

  • Promote and encourage the development of people to ensure leadership continuity.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and positive engagement and empowerment of employees.

  • Lead the activities and controls the performance of mission critical capital equipment manufacturing plants in the US, international and contract manufacturer partnerships

  • Direct and coordinate all manufacturing initiatives to deliver divisional operational goals and KPI’s including financials (P&L responsibility)

  • Develop labor capacity models and material plans needed to meet supply plants while maintaining flexibility to minimize cost and inventory levels.

  • Direct the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of production standards and of a continuous improvement management system.

  • Develop and execute on continues improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives with focus on on-time delivery, labor productivity, cost reduction and overall margin improvement.

  • Drive business development and value by completing large cross-functional projects including manufacturing transfers and automation.

  • Collaborate and communicates effectively with supply chain (quality, regulatory, EHS, planning, procurement…) and divisional functions (marketing, R&D, legal…)

Qualifications

Education

  • Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: BA/BS Degree

  • Preferred Minimum Technical/Advanced Degree: Master’s Degree

Experience

  • Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: 15 + Years

  • Preferred Minimum Technical/Advanced Degree: 12 + Years with Master’s Degree, 10 + Years with PhD

  • Experience in medical devices preferred.

  • Experience in supply chain / capital equipment or low volume/high mix manufacturing operations.

  • Demonstrated success in strategic efforts to drive consistent productivity gains.

  • Proven track record in leading global operations

  • High business acumen: ability to learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances; comfort and ability to effectively order the unknown; intellectual agility.

  • Demonstrated change management capability and approach.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to quickly distill complex information into actions/recommendations.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of supply chain management principles, ERP and Lean implementation

  • Broad knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, ROI

  • Practical understanding of global regulatory/quality standards and requirements.

  • Analytical thinker / Problem solver

  • Attention to detail.

  • Creates followership across the organization.

The annualized base salary range for this role is 169,200 - $300,800 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
