Description We are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our team in the water industry, based in Newark, Delaware. This role involves administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting business applications, planning and developing the application roadmap, project schedule, and annual budget, ensuring compliance with policies and practices, and managing and minimizing the department’s risk.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot a portfolio of business applications.

• Anticipate, respond to, and identify business needs, recommending, designing, implementing, and enhancing business processes and transaction processing across business applications.

• Draft, analyze, and implement applications, related business rules, business process flows, information flow diagrams, functional and technical specifications, configuration, batch processing, issue remediation, and enhancements.

• Design and write reports, SQL queries, and PL/SQL programs to facilitate reporting, application troubleshooting, and application enhancements.

• Provide guidance to and assist others in the administration, troubleshooting, and use of business applications.

• Develop, implement, and administer software, tools, and procedures to monitor, alert, report on, and remediate issues within business applications.

• Plan and execute corrective efforts to prevent and correct security vulnerabilities within the business applications.

• Plan and execute projects to upgrade existing applications to maintain vendor support.

• Assure the development of, and adherence to, a roadmap and lifecycle for the business application portfolio.

• Propose and execute projects and priorities according to strategic and tactical imperatives.

• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, procedures, and regulations.

• Review business processes, consulting with business users to assist in identification of technology related business process improvement efforts.

• Ensure adherence with contractual obligations, licensing terms, manufacturer requirements, and best practices based on published authoritative guidance. Requirements • Proficiency in Database and DB2 Database systems

• Demonstrated experience with EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with IBM and Microsoft software and platforms

• Knowledge of AB Testing techniques and strategies

• Ability to prepare and interpret Business Requirement Documents

• Understanding of Computer Hardware systems and components

• Expertise in Configuration Management processes and tools

• Experience in planning and executing system Deployments

• Proficiency in PeopleSoft Financials and Oracle systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented setting

• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
