Job Description

What You'll Contribute

The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing and procurement strategies, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the organization's objectives, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services meets quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Develop best practices in executing procurement strategies including, and not limited to, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and reporting.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish supplier relationships to ensure high-quality products and services at competitive prices.

• Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and process improvements.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, and systems to drive transparency, efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

What you have

Minimum education, skills and experience required.

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.

• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of achieving favorable terms and driving supplier performance.

• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, using data-driven insights to optimize procurement processes and drive improvements.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.

• Proficiency in using procurement software and systems to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.

• Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain management.

Preferred education, skills, and experience.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing
