JPMorgan Chase Firmwide Finance Business Architecture - Cross-Product Integration Product Owner - Vice President in Newark, Delaware

The Business Architecture Core Services Team is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge applications and tools that drive data management, controls, data modeling and aggregation, analytics, and reporting. The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) is accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events and the Chief Data Office for Corporate Finance and Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO). The team also provides a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices, with a current focus on overseeing the Data Acquisition framework for strategic and legacy Corporate Finance, TCIO, and Wholesale Credit Risk platforms.

As a Product Owner - Vice President, within the Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA, you'll spearhead the modernization of applications and services that are pivotal for both internal and external reporting, aligning with key firm-wide initiatives. You'll collaborate with users and technology teams within an agile framework, managing a prioritized backlog to ensure the team consistently delivers maximum value aligned with the firm's strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Innovate within an Agile framework to craft solutions that seamlessly integrate automation, data management, and digital analytics.

  • Chart a strategic roadmap for user-centric data management and analytical technology products, ensuring they resonate with business objectives.

  • Lead cross-product integration initiatives to ensure smooth interoperability and data flow across diverse systems and applications.

  • Leverage your expertise in system architecture and banking product data to bridge technical specifications with business needs.

  • Partner with development teams to transform business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria.

  • Navigate the entire SDLC lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring a flawless blend of technical and functional elements.

  • Engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels, presenting both technical and business perspectives with clarity and impact.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in user-facing product ownership, ideally within financial services and/or regulatory reporting, with a strong foundation in both technical and business domains.

  • Proven track record in designing and building user-centric data analytics tools, adept at managing large data volumes across diverse products.

  • Ability to swiftly assimilate both business and technical knowledge, juggling multiple work streams with tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in desktop tools (e.g., Excel) and data interaction, including SQL querying, to support both technical and business analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, leveraging collaboration and influencing skills to drive decision-making across technical and business stakeholders.

  • In-depth knowledge of data and business intelligence concepts, including ETL, Data Modeling, and Reporting Automation, with a focus on practical application.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and highly responsible, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills that integrate technical and business insights.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Experience leading a small team of direct reports, delivering projects that require both technical and business acumen.

  • Mastery of Agile delivery methodologies, including JIRA and Confluence, to manage both technical and functional project aspects.

  • Deep knowledge and experience with a variety of banking products, such as Loans, Deposits, Cash, Derivatives, and Securities, from both a technical and business perspective.

  • Experience with UI/UX design and implementation, enhancing user interaction and experience by integrating technical functionality with user needs.

  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies like data science, AI/ML, AWS, and Databricks, leveraging these to elevate product capabilities and insights.
