Job Title : Rigger Helper

Pay : $23 - $24/hr DOE

Shift :

Start times vary between 5am and 8am (most commonly between 6am and 7am)

Monday - Friday

• Overtime is highly likely, with an expected workweek of 45-50 hours.

Description :

The Rigger Helper will support the relocation of heavy capital equipment

by assisting as a spotter and operator of various machinery. Key

responsibilities include:

• Assisting crane operators with rigging tasks for hoisting and moving large equipment.

• Operating machinery such as Genie Lifts, Table Lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts for material handling and inventory relocation.

• Ensuring all safety protocols are followed and actively participating in risk assessments.

• Regularly lifting up to 60 pounds and working in physically demanding environments.

• Collaborating with a team to ensure efficient relocation of equipment in a timely and safe manner.

Job Requirements :

• Heavy Machine Operating Experience : Familiarity with machinery like forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment.

• Forklift Certification : Preferred, but not required.

• Construction Experience : Ideally have a general understanding of PPE use and safety-first protocols, along with experience working in an industrial or construction setting.

• Basic Rigging Knowledge : Ability to work as a spotter and assist crane operators in the safe movement of large equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

In the first 6 months, Rigger

Helpers will mainly work as spotters and use smaller equipment, such as Genie

Lifts and forklifts. After 6 months, additional training will be provided for

operating larger machinery and crane operations.
