Our client, a leading provider of secure document destruction services, is seeking a Destruction Technician 1 to join their team. As a Destruction Technician 1, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the shredding and destruction of sensitive material. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a team environment, and a commitment to safety and security.

Job Title: Destruction Technician 1

Location: Newark, CA

Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate

What's the Job?

• Secure shredding of collected material from containers

• Sorting and shredding material by grade

• Compliance with safety and security policies

• Proper handling of equipment and protection of customer information

• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company core values

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in an Operations/Production/Manufacturing environment

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually

• Physical ability to lift heavy material (70lbs to 100lbs) and/or push as much as 300lbs wheeled containers

• Ability to operate PIT (and other equipment) as licensed
