Sinclair Broadcast Group VP, Network Ad Sales of Sinclair Media Networks in New York, New York
This Vice President will direct, manage and oversee the Sinclair Media Network Ad Sales Group. They will report directly into our Senior Vice President of Network Sales and Development. They will be responsible for generating revenue in the network television marketplace by aggregating and selling the total cumulative audience of the Sinclair national footprint of 185 television stations in 86 markets combined with our partner stations in top non-Sinclair markets. They will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed the company's revenue goals.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
Hire, train and manage team of Directors, Account Managers, Planners, Researchers and assistants
Represent all Sinclair Platforms to National Advertising Agencies and Blue-Chip Clients;
Maximize sales and revenue growth in all platforms across Sinclair while collaborating with the company’s various platforms (Sinclair Audience Network, 24/7 News Network, Original Programming Network, Sports Networks, Tennis, Streaming/Digital etc.)
Allocate and manage dedicated network inventory within specified dayparts for sale in the network universe;
Develop and build sophisticated pricing models to efficiently monetize the network units.
Utilize ratings information from Nielsen to position the Sinclair Audience Network favorably against both broadcast and cable networks; incorporate advanced data to enhance the NTI information.
Create presentations and sales decks that showcase the reach and benefits of Sinclair network platforms.
Oversee media acquisition team that works with our partners in non-Sinclair markets
Develop sales and research materials utilizing Sinclair resources
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sales Leader in the broadcast network space.
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals. Strong closing skills.
Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards success.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze market trends and capitalize on opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role.
Minimum of 10 years managing direct reports, preferably outside sales.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $220,000 to $250,000. This position is bonus eligible based upon performance. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
