Citigroup VP ERM Data Transformation Analyst (Hybrid) in New York, New York

As part of the Data and Technology transformation team of the Enterprise Risk Management function., you will be part of a team responsible to: establish, maintain, and communicate the Enterprise Risk Data and Tech transformation data strategy; deliver technology implementation roadmaps, ensure that both business and regulatory requirements are met; and drive implementation and adoption of consistent data management standards and capabilities to support the Enterprise Risk Management Framework adoption across the enterprise and relevant businesses / functions / regions.

This role will be required to drive the systemic onboarding of data from Authoritative Data Sources , expand and strengthen Data governance across the systems, aligning to new data management policies and drive EUC remediation initiatives.

Critical systems managed within this team include :

  • Enterprise Risk data Layer (ERDL) : The Enterprise Risk Data Layer (ERDL) infrastructure will capture consistent, accurate and timely data from risk categories and ERM Risk pillars.

  • Risk Terminal: l. The Risk Terminal is designed to provide a holistic and persona based (i.e. CRO) view of the Bank’s risk profile. This interface will give 1LoD & 2LoD users the ability to centrally access streamlined analytics, reporting, escalation and other risk management activities across the enterprise.

About the role:

The Business Architecture and Process Design VP is responsible for assisting the Business Architecture lead with business and strategic planning activities, design, and implementation for end-to-end business architecture owned and performed by the ERM teams located around the world, ensuring the alignment of existing platform offerings with new process changes introduced are standardized, efficient, and designed with appropriate controls.

This role will also be contributing to ensuring that appropriate end to end business architecture, design and development initiatives are aligned with the ongoing Consent Order programs and most importantly aligned to the strategic ERM Business Architecture objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • The role will support the ERM teams (Enterprise Risk Analytics, New Activities Risk Management, Risk Appetite and Limit, Risk Framework and Policy, Risk ID and Strategic Risk, Climate Risk, Digital Assets Risk, Enterprise Risk Governance), ensuring business architecture defined adheres to agreed standards.

  • Hands-on data analysis of different risk categories to derive conclusion to support business strategy

  • Implement Citi’s Data Governance policy as required to various data sets.

  • Process improvement experience pertains to compliance and data quality initiatives.

  • Standardization of data definitions and ensuring consistency as per definitions across system.

  • Identification of data control gaps and providing recommendations

  • Understand the active EUCs to be retired, identifying the golden data. Work with ERDL Tech partners to automate the sourcing and automating the desired calculations at ERDL end.

  • Support identification of opportunities to integrate various aspects of enterprise strategy, design, modelling and technology solutions, promote inter-connectivity between platforms, and facilitate platform governance.

  • Support for initiating programs whose outcomes will drive simplifying processes, optimizing platforms, and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes. Partner with partner Risk teams to design global processes and controls

  • Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders.

  • Provide support for driving project outcomes and creating alignment/ synergies with Risk Transformation/ Consent Order, and Business Simplification initiatives as they relate to the technology enablement of processes owned and performed by ERM.

  • This role works with key stakeholders across ERM, Risk, Risk DART, Risk COO PMO, Technology, EIO&T Business Simplification, and 1LOD, as well as other disciplines to ensure appropriate alignment and accountability of activities supporting these end-to end-processes.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

  • 7-10 years of demonstrated data-oriented experience in transformation programs and regulatory remediation in a large global bank or Big Four consulting firm

  • Experienced in business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis

  • Experienced in Data transformation , EUC remediation , Data governance

  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of SQL, MS Office

  • Experienced in working across technology and business projects and managing inter-dependencies between them

  • Proven successful track record of navigating operations and technology organizations, effective communication to senior leadership and driving results across global organizations

  • Bachelors degree required. Master’s degree is strongly preferred or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management or related field
