Design, develop, and manage algorithmic trading systems to enhance market making, risk management and execution efficiency. Develop front office tools to improve the financial instruments used by the Electronic Trading Desk. Research and review live financial data, and provide traders with consistent and accurate information to develop and execute important and large financial transactions. Develop and improve our internal cross-platform communication systems to reduce latency and increase efficiency in communicating time-sensitive and important financial news and information.Requirements: Master’s degree in mathematics, finance, or mathematics of finance, plus two years of experience in the position offered or as a quantitative trader or execution trader.*All of the required experience must have included researching and developing electronic market making algorithms, market impact models, market microstructure analysis and risk factor modeling; analyzing large financial datasets and using Python and SQL to perform financial modeling; automating modeling processes to conduct trading execution; providing analytical modeling using mathematics/calculus and quantitative and financial econometric techniques; and experience with mathematic modeling, algorithmic trading, data analytics, and working with/analyzing derivatives or synthetic products.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.Benefits:https://careers.sumitomocorp.com/content/why-sc-americas/
