Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Vice President, Institutional Securities Technology in New York, NY.Conduct data modeling, design, and configuration of databases. Tune database and perform maintenance activities including partitioning, purge policies, exporting purged data, vacuuming, and analyzing tables. Conduct data migration from on-prem to cloud platforms. Conduct hardware upgrades to ensure scalability, optimum performance, and resource queue utilization. Responsible for the creation and launch of database processes. Build proper access controls to protect critical assets from restricted operations. Conduct data virtualization by cloning the physical database to virtual databases. Determine appropriate masking, encryption, purge and ERA export policies for PII and MNPI data that align with regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Manager, Engineer, or related occupation in the technology field. Requires five (5) years of experience with: DB2; Greenplum; Snowflake; Singlestore; Postgres; SQL Server; Apache Spark; Tableau; Power BI; ETL Informatica; Jenkins; Runway; Liquibase; Git; Bit Bucket; Shell scripting; Python; Perl; SQL; Linux-RHEL; COBOL; ADABAS; Natural; CICS; VSAM; JCL; Assembler programming; Azure; AWS; SAFe; Scrum; and Kanban.
Minimum Salary: 185,650 Maximum Salary: 200,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
