Robert Half User Experience (UX) Researcher in New York, New York

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a User Experience (UX) Researcher based in New York, New York. The role involves conducting user research in the eCommerce industry to enhance the online shopping experience for customers. The UX Researcher will work closely with other team members to understand user needs and transform them into business solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct various user research studies such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing

• Analyze user behavior patterns and requirements to drive product improvements

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to incorporate user feedback into the product development cycle

• Generate reports and present findings to senior leadership to influence business decisions

• Advocate for the user throughout the development process, ensuring all aspects of the user experience are considered and implemented

• Utilize UX research tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop

• Employ Agile Scrum methodology to manage and prioritize work

• Use Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing product development tasks

• Apply AB Testing methods to improve user experience and boost conversion rates

• Develop API solutions to enhance the functionality and user experience of the product

• Design and implement user interfaces using Ajax and CSS. Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

• Experience with Atlassian Jira

• Familiarity with AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge in Ajax and API Development

• Competence in CSS

• Proven experience as a User Experience (UX) Researcher or similar role

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred
