Citigroup US Personal Banking Finance Business Execution Lead – New York- C14 - NEW YORK in New York, New York

The Business Execution Lead will report directly to the CFO for the US Personal Banking (USPB) business. This is a key leadership role and requires a strategic professional who can drive cross-functional projects. This role requires excellent communication skills to guide, influence, and drive outcomes as well as experience managing strategic projects end-to-end.

*This role will report on site to the office in NYC three times per week. This role cannot be done remotely or from another Citi location.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic projects from conception to completion based on the business’s and finance’s key priorities. Partner directly with various groups within and outside of the USPB Finance team to develop recommendations on high-priority strategic initiatives.

  • Drive large-scale, strategic projects for the USPB Finance team and broader USPB organization.

  • Design a strategy and drive execution of large-scale, strategic projects for the USPB Finance team and broader USPB organization in partnership with USPB LFO and FP&A teams, as well with finance and business COO teams.

  • Structure a detailed plan to manage execution of expense goals.

  • Focus on technology strategy and end-to-end processes improvements for USPB Finance.

  • Project manage execution of key regulatory and change management projects across USPB Finance.

  • Support the CFO on all deliverables and engagements, including the preparation of meeting materials, talking points, and briefing material for all forums, including but not limited to: Quarterly Business Reviews, offsites, and other internal commitments.

  • Support planning and execution of standing operating forums for USPB Finance, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership team meetings, executive 1:1s, and offsites.

  • Manage ad-hoc requests from the central teams, functional partners, and the USPB business.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in financial services

  • Extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter

  • Strategically minded with track record of execution excellence

  • Strong project management discipline and execution skills

  • Hands-on orientation with the demonstrated ability to set up internal processes to communicate and resolve issues

  • A critical and analytical thinker

  • Able to engage with senior leaders clearly and concisely

  • Ability to prioritize work and manage many tasks at once

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy

  • Passion for people and culture-related work

  • Excellent communication skills required in order to communicate complex messages succinctly and influence a range of audiences

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
