Amazon Hub Delivery allows local small businesses to partner with Amazon to provide flexible and cost-effective delivery service to delight customers globally. This is an emerging Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivery channel, and is on an exponential growth trajectory globally.

The Hub Delivery team is looking for a Supply Chain Manager (SPM). The SPM is an expert on problem solving and can apply program management, planning skills, and analytical techniques to the business across many geographies, products, and segments. This is a globally focused role will focus on strategy and business planning for this delivery channel within the Last Mile organization. The SPM will cover multiple aspects of Business Analytics, Planning and program management for Amazon Hub Delivery.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

  • Using topology, cost, speed, and quality data to identify zip codes and cities where Hub Delivery should expand in

  • Building analytical models to estimate program TAM (Total Addressable Market) and Long-Range (3 year), annual, and quarterly forecasts and plans for this business

  • Developing and implementing new metrics to better understand business health

  • Running data and process deep-dives to continuously improve our product offering and business performance

  • Quantifying initiative impact to help with prioritization

About the team

The Hub program is part of Amazon's fast growing and always evolving rural and urban delivery program. We partner with customer obsessed small business owners who then deliver to Amazon customers. Our partners raise the bar for the delivery experience, in some of the most complex last mile scenarios!

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience

  • 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
