Your New Role…

CNN is looking for a Subscription Growth Manager to join our Revenue and Growth team . As our Subscription Growth Manager you will be responsible for owning the execution of CNN customer and subscriber acquisition and retention campaigns . You will work closely with our partners in engineering, product design, analytics and marketing to implement marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition and engagement throughout the user journey . You will manage, execute and scale acquisition and engagement campaigns across channels – with a strong focus on paid social and email channels . The growth of CNN’s digital business is a core element of WBD’s long-term strategy, and you will be part of the team that is driving this digital revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands - on experience creating, managing and optimizing marketing campaigns across web, e-mail and paid social channels, and has a solid understanding of direct-to-consumer subscription businesses . Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Serve as operational expert for CNN’s subscriber acquisition and engagement initiatives, including owning end-to-end execution of e-mail, web and paid social campaigns.

  • Responsible for creating, implementing and optimizing campaigns, and for tracking and reporting on campaign performance.

  • Lead the coordination of digital assets across design and copywriting teams, ensuring all campaigns have corresponding marketing material.

  • Make ongoing recommendations on creative and campaign strategy, landing pages, email templates, and other marketing material.

  • Maintain the performance and health of the email channel with regard to data reliability, audience segmentation, list hygiene, and deliverability.

  • Consolidate data from a variety of sources including website traffic, social media engagement and campaigns, and use data to help identify opportunities to optimize marketing campaigns

Qualifications & Experience…

  • 5+ years of experience implementing and managing audience acquisition or growth marketing campaigns; subscription marketing experience preferred

  • Experience with marketing technology tools, CDPs, Facebook Ads and Google Ads, with a strong understanding of best practices as it relates to campaign structures, creative strategy and conversion optimization

  • Excellent understanding of email best practices and hands-on experience creating and managing campaigns with ESPs

  • Knowledge of general UX design, web pixel/tagging structures and HTML.

  • Strong working knowledge with analytics and business Intelligence tools like Adobe Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Domo, or similar, and know

  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented

  • Highly analytical, comfortable working with data, setting up models and dashboards

  • BA/BS degree (or higher)

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $93,800.00 - $174,200.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
