Position Summary
We are seeking to hire a Student Research Worker to support funded projects for breast cancer prevention. The student will work on an ongoing multicenter trial of web-based decision support tools for breast cancer chemoprevention.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project manager
- Organize and administer web-based intervention to trial participants
- Assist in the development of recruitment materials
- Maintain screening and recruitment logs
- Perform data entry into a centralized Filemaker database
- Participate in weekly research meetings
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in education, training and experience
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
- Ability to work flexible hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a public health or clinical research setting
- Familiarity with CUMC/NYP electronic clinical systems (Epic)
- Experience using online survey or customer relationship software
Other Requirements
- Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
