Position Overview:The Senior Director of Treasury at MN8 Energy will lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s capital markets and project finance activities. This role will work closely with our investment team, tax team and other treasury members; to ensure the company has access to the necessary financial resources to drive its growth and success in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in capital markets, project finance, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape. As the Sr Director of Treasury, you will:· Develop and execute strategies to raise capital through debt, equity, and other financial instruments to support MN8 Energy’s growth objectives.· Manage relationships with investment banks, investors, and financial institutions.· Oversee the structuring and negotiation of project finance transactions for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage.· Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure project funding.· Manage process for financial modeling, due diligence processes, and risk assessments for new projects.· Ensure efficient capital allocation and maintain a strong balance sheet.· Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks associated with capital markets and project finance activities.· Implement hedging strategies to manage interest rate risks.· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the treasury department.· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to treasury and finance activities.· Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on treasury and project finance matters. Our Ideal Candidate Will have:· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.· 10+ years of experience in treasury, capital markets, and project finance, with a significant focus on the renewable energy sector.· Proven track record in raising capital and executing complex project finance transactions.· Strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and industry stakeholders.· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.· Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.· In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.· Experience with financial modeling, risk management, and financial reporting.
