Device Advertising Products and Personalization (DAPP) team is growing their newest line of business, Prime Video Display Native Ads (PVNA) by expanding their 2-pizza team in New York. Our display advertising program on Fire TV is grown exponentially and we are doubling down on our success by expanding to Prime Video. We are a technical and friendly team who has the unique benefit of building software systems that combine audience data, device hardware, mobile apps and desktop web experiences. We care deeply about our device end-users and advertising customers and the well-being and growth of our team members.

Key job responsibilities

This role requires outstanding programming ability and your technical skills will be stretched while building low-latency, highly scalable systems enabling thousands of concurrent advertisers to design and deliver unique user experiences to millions of customers. You will contribute to all aspects of the software lifecycle: design, experimentation, implementation and testing. You will succeed in these endeavors by combining your technical experience with your ability to listen to, learn from, and communicate with a diverse group of collaborators.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

  • Sharp analytical abilities, great sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

  • A strong sense of curiosity, and a passion for innovation and learning.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
