Insight Global Service Designer in New York, New York

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Service Designer to join a consumer facing design team. This team will be working to support a greater design team but will focus on the blueprinting and systematized approach for delivering design work focused on customer centricity. We are seeking a candidate with a background in service design, who are process oriented, and enjoy connecting the dots between data and design. This candidate will be supporting stakeholder relationships across multiple business units and teams to gather insights and then synthesize and analyze the data to come up with design recommendations for product groups. Candidates will be designing system based blueprints, creating complex journey maps based on their discovery of how consumers use the companies digital products, and creating artifacts and internal that tell the story of their discovery to the internal cross functional design teams. Candidates should have a good business sense to be able to work with stakeholders and manage those relationships. This environment has multiple digital touchpoints, so candidates should be comfortable navigating large ecosystems and presenting in workshops. This role will require innovative thinking, next generational design thought and will not be design for development work.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Service Design

Strong understanding of Service design processes and systematized way of organizing design

Experience working and organizing qualitative data, data skills with excel workflows

Hands on with system based blueprints, journey mapping and flows, information architecture

Knowledge of customer centricity - understanding of customer facing products and product taxonomy

Portfolio with up to date work that shows process and full work flow Experience standing up a practice or initiative within the design space

Knowledge of go to market strategies from a design perspective null
