The Senior Wealth Management Relationship Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing relationships with 3rd party asset managers and key strategic investment partners for the Citi Wealth business.

Citi Wealth has an open architecture approach to delivering investment solutions. This leadership role is critical to help the team identify and manage core activities and relationships with managers, including both traditional and private markets. In addition, this leader will play an important role in delivering “one Citi” and coordinating across the enterprise where appropriate for activities with key clients.

  • Participate and lead strategic and tactical engagement meetings with executives across the asset management landscape.

  • Design and implement programs to help align resources and solutions for key partners aligned to the Citi Wealth strategy.

  • Facilitate feedback from internal stakeholders on the needs of the business and where we can leverage partners to help advance the business.

  • Design and implement training/education programs across the range of solutions.

  • Define and implement engagement models that ensure appropriate levels of coordination and alignment with internal priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field (required). Advanced degrees (JD, LL.M.) or certifications (CFP®) are preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or related sectors.

  • Extensive experience working with 3rd party investment managers

  • Strong relationship management and organizational skills.

  • Broad understanding of key product structures (mutual funds, SMAs, alternatives, ETFs, etc)

  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or 65/63).

  • In-depth knowledge of wealth management services, with a focus on estate planning, tax strategies, and business succession for HNW and UHNW clients.

  • Strong analytical and portfolio management skills, including risk management and compliance expertise.

  • Proven track record in client acquisition and business development

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. Skilled in negotiation

  • Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
