Perform AB tests for a data driven development and provide adjustments based on the results of AB tests. Implement new features, improve performance, and build beautiful user interfaces. Build cutting-edge Android apps that bring the joy of music to millions of users. Build, innovate, and maintain Spotify’s live audio experience. Collaborate and work closely with other engineers. Architect, develop, and integrate new experiences into the main application at scale. Write clear, maintainable code that will scale across several projects and distributed development teams. Mentor junior engineers and help them in developing their software engineering skills. *Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in Android software development or a closely related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in Android software development or a closely related role. Must have three (3) years of experience (or 5 with Bachelor’s) with: Kotlin; ADB; JAVA; RESTful APIs; CI/CD; unit testing; Google Cloud Platform; Bazel build system; Protobufs; writing technical documentation regarding proposed software architecture; reviewing code; GIT; Agile Development Methodology.SALARY: $179,982 to $267,900/ yearWORK SCHEDULE: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week.
