GCS is the B2B payments division of American Express, enabling businesses globally to pay for and finance what they need to grow their businesses. GCS provides a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing.

As our customers are changing the way they work and pay, we have been evolving with them by developing B2B partner-embedded and automated payment solutions so that we are seamlessly coordinated into customer ecosystem. The B2B Solutions team is focused on building a new business model, key partnerships, value propositions, and go-to-market plans that will address all customer segments, from Small businesses to Large and Global clients, to create new opportunities for us to capture B2B spend through these ecosystem partners, such as AP Automation partners, Accounting and ERP software providers, as well as procurement platforms & networks. This business has doubled in customers and volume over the last few years and requires focused attention on customer experience management and overall roadmap prioritization and planning.

As such, the Senior Manager, Product Development – B2B Buyer Experience, will join a team passionate about designing and building a product roadmap with a broad set of features and improvements aimed at delivering a best-in-class buyer experience. Paired with our Supplier initiatives, we will create digital platforms for B2B ecosystem growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end product design and delivery of new capabilities

  • Collaborate with Product Management to capture strategy, objectives, and success metrics

  • Design intuitive customer experiences by collaborating with UX team

  • Design compliant, robust, and secure capabilities by partnering with stakeholders

  • Partner with Technology to solution high level architecture and identify dependencies

  • Create and deliver executive level communications, updates, and reporting to key stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Proven product development track record and deep expertise in design and development

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and translating unstructured information into an actionable plan

  • Ability to focus both on high level strategy and dive into details

  • Ability to balance business and technology needs

  • Ability to prioritize and drive strong results with limited resources

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to influence business partners to drive business value without direct authority

  • Positive, flexible, proactive, and collaborative mindset

Qualifications

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits
