Overview


Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager Business Operations to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will have a significant impact on key company functions, including Health, Safety, Real Estate, Facilities, Sustainability, Security, Government Relations, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit.


You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to enhance the capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness of these critical functions. This position offers the unique opportunity to develop cross-functional expertise, improve operational workflows, and contribute to building scalable processes that drive organizational success. As this position reports to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, optimizing internal operations, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.



Responsibilities


  • Operations Lead: Support the Executive Vice President and General Counsel in enhancing the capabilities, efficiency and effectiveness of the various legal and non-legal functional areas. Handle a diverse group of legal, financial and business matters, anticipate issues, and problem solve. (Specific subject matter expertise not required).
  • Improvement Projects: Identify continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Develop resource plans and timelines for improvements. Drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Department Financial Budgeting & Goal Setting: Work with executive leaders on budget development and goal setting for certain corporate expense areas. Provide day-to-day oversight of the Corporate Department budget.
  • Staffing Coordination: Work with executive leadership to maintain current and future state organization and staff development materials. Facilitate job changes and temporary project assignments to meet the evolving needs of our business; this includes coordination with HR and Finance on budgeted staffing additions and onboarding.
  • Relationship Development: Collaborate with executive leadership and oversee the development and maintenance of external high-level relationships. Serve as a liaison for key internal relationships.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance (any concentration), Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a corporate, legal, or government setting which includes some business experience as a generalist.
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 10% of the time in addition to required travel to Lutron Global Headquarters

Starting pay: $160,000 - $190,000 per year; Lutron's employee benefits include 401k match, health, dental, and life insurance, paid vacation (amount based on tenure with the company), flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement programs.
