H&H Senior Lead Structural Engineer in New York, New York
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lead Structural Engineer to join our NYC team.

Responsibilities
Lead Structural Engineer or Project Engineer on major projects
Assist with managing internal staff as well as sub-consultants, along with interacting with clients and other design team disciplines
Assist with client relations and business development efforts and proposals
Prepare detailed plans and construction documents for the assigned task
Perform engineering calculations about and in support of the detailed plans and construction documents developed
Develop contract specifications, contract bid documents, and technical report writing
Coordinate various discipline and payment items within the construction documents
Complete work accurately and in accordance with quality control and quality assurance procedures
Attend project meetings and contribute information as requested by management
Provide mentoring and training to junior staff and conduct performance reviews
Display experience with current FEM Modeling CSI Bridge, SAP, and MIDAS is preferred but not required
Requirements
BS in Civil Engineering required; MS preferred)
PE License in NY required, additional license in NJ or other states a plus (preferred)
Minimum of 15 years of Structural Engineering experience with a focus on bridge design
Specific experience with local client base preferred (NYSDOT, NYCDOT, PANYNJ)
Experience in analysis of major and/or complex bridge projects (e.g., curved steel plate girders, steel box girders, segmental concrete box girders, or continuous post-tensioned girders) in accordance with Federal and State codes
Bridge rating experience (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
Salary range — $124,000 – $165,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
