About the team
FIS is building a community of engineers to develop and then commodities a catalogue of enterprise wide consumable products that can easily and repeatably be scaled and deployed across our global Merchant Cloud & Automation Services (architecture. The products you develop will help drive our organization towards our strategic principle 'Cloud First' and our successes will be measured through the continued adoption of our MCAS products and services. Operating within a collaborative Java environment, we aim to deliver effective solutions focused on business value.
What you will be doing
- Specific strong Java experience, including development of secure web applications.
- Commercial experience of Microservices, service-oriented architectures and containerised deployments Developing application
What you bring:
Solid experience on Core Java, Spring, JDBC/JPA/Hibernate, Web services,microservices
* Experience with Junit, JMock, EJB will be added advantage.
* Experience with PL-SQL, Database - DB2/MySQL/Oracle
* Understanding or knowledge in Build Release activities
* Domain knowledge in Banking and Finance, Payment Processing will be added advantage
* Experience working on Linux/ UNIX
* Beginner knowledge in Microservices will be an add on
* Experience working in an Agile methodology. Understanding of all scrum ceremonies and there values
* Leading a team technically on delivery aspect
* Ability to leads team during conflicts and lead technical discussion to resolution
