The O&T FP&A Sr. Financial Analyst is a key player on the O&T HQ Finance team, supporting a variety of business lines within Operations & Technology. The role will primarily assist in the consolidation & analysis of the O&T Capital portfolio, approximately $700M of annual Capital spend. Additionally, this role will assist with the management of the OCF allocation process, which includes partnering with finance teams across NBCUniversal’s wider brand portfolio in the distribution of approximately $1B of costs. This role will also aide in the management and analysis of financial information (OCF, Headcount, Allocations) for the Global Security & EHS / BCCM groups. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain a solid understanding of NBCU operations through daily exposure and interaction with operational finance managers, technical support teams, and corporate finance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Manager of FP&A in all aspects of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for high level presentations

  • Assist in the reporting and communication of allocations to internal customers and NBCU Corporate

  • Consolidate and analyze actual vs. estimate variance commentary on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Assist monthly and quarterly closes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance

  • Develop and maintain planning tools for team’s use in all financial planning cycles

  • Assist with ad hoc analyses/requests

What You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting/finance experience

  • Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products, particularly in EXCEL (advanced skillset needed) and POWERPOINT

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and encapsulate complex data and information in order to build financial models and presentations to senior leadership

  • SAP/BPC and/or Essbase experience

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments and work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be accurate, highly organized with great attention to detail

  • Proactive approach to problem solving including analytical and information system skills

  • Strong work ethic and follow through

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
