Senior Data Scientist, Market and Business Intelligence with Spotify USA Inc. 4 World Trade Center, 150 Greenwich St., New York, NY 10007*Telecommuting permitted: Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Spotify USA, Inc. office in New York, NY.Job Duties: Perform complex analysis on large global sets of data to extract impactful insights that will help inform senior leadership on the state of our user growth around the world. Partner closely with local market teams to identify and assess fundamental performance drivers that underpin Spotify's user growth from a local perspective. Evaluate (on a market-by-market basis) Spotify’s total addressable market, market penetration, market maturity and audience needs/behaviors to assess business opportunities. Communicate insights and recommendations through clear visualizations and presentations appropriately designed for executive-level audiences. Maintain and develop critical datasets and dashboards around e.g., macroeconomic indicators and audience/user data. Advocate and educate the organization around data-informed decision making.Position requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Intelligence, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in Data Science or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: utilizing Data Science technologies (eg. SQL, Python, R, Tableau, GitHub, spreadsheet tools like Excel/Google Sheets); conducting exploratory Data Analysis and Scoping; Data Visualization; Data Management & Preparation; and Modeling & Statistics.
