WarnerMedia Services, LLC Senior Data Engineer in New York, New York
Senior Data Engineer positions offered by WarnerMedia Services, LLC (New York, NY). Design and develop the data platform to efficiently and cost effectively address various data needs across the business. Build software across the company’s entire cutting-edge data platform, including event driven and batch data processing, storage, and serving through various data integration techniques, such as APIs, Lambda, and File Feeds. Develop and maintain data integrations, including but not limited to direct digital marketing and social channels. Ingest and process massive campaign datasets to analyze the campaign performance. Think of new ways to help make the data platform more scalable, resilient, and reliable, and then work across the team to put ideas into action. Help stay ahead of the curve by working closely with data architects, stream processing specialists, API developers, the DevOps team, and analysts to design systems which can scale elastically. Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to make data easily accessible and understandable to them. Ensure data quality by implementing re-usable data quality frameworks. Work closely with various other data engineering teams to roll out new capabilities. Work closely with the AI/ML team to operationalize and utilize models for business needs. Develop and enforce data engineering, security, data quality standards through automation. Participate in supporting the platform 24X7. Be responsible for cloud cost and improving efficiency. Hybrid work schedule.Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in the job offered or at least 5 years of experience in software engineering. Stated experience must include at least 5 years of experience in the following: Snowflake; Databricks Spark Scala; AWS services; Java; and Python. Must also have at least 2 years of experience in data engineering.We are offering a salary range of $179,982 to $192,000 per year, depending upon qualifications.
