We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst, Crisis & Resilience as a part of our Enterprise Resilience and Crisis Management (ERCM) Team. The Enterprise Resilience and Crisis Management (ERCM) Team is hiring a Senior Data Analyst who’ll have the opportunity to own and architect the end-to-end data lifecycle for crisis and resilience analytics. Day to day you will work closely with our business stakeholders to learn about their business and understand their data and analytics challenges. Additionally, you will work with our current Analytics team to help manage our Azure Resources and work with other engineering teams to source and ingest data, model, and prepare data for analysis and usage. Finally, you’ll work with ERCM team members to deliver insights on risks to help drive crisis and resilience stakeholders across the enterprise.

The Senior Data Analyst, Crisis & Resilience will be skilled at leveraging data as a strategic asset and can map analyses to areas of risk for action; has a record of accomplishment in developing data analyses that address risks or performance, collaborating and influencing across teams to develop key performance indicators, coordinating multiple timelines, and managing complex, cross discipline projects. The Senior Data Analyst, Crisis & Resilience should be agile and able to adapt to support an ever-changing company, evolving technology stack, and shifting risk environment; leads by example and fosters an open work environment where cross-collaboration, inclusiveness, and diversity of perspective are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable data assets (dashboards, underlying data sets, and workflows) to unlock reliable and high velocity decision support

  • Contribute to and manage the Azure infrastructure (e.g., Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Kusto/Azure Data Explorer, Power BI, Azure Log Analytics, Data Flows, Fabric)

  • Perform analyses using a variety of analytical tools (SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, Fabric etc), execute analyses and interpret results with actionable recommendations, and partners to build on others’ frameworks.

  • Problem solve with crisis and resilience SMEs and do deep dive data analyses on their data flows, requirements and ideate data solutions

  • Continually ensure both security and privacy are paramount in the ways that Enterprise Resilience and Crisis Management (ERCM) stewards the data that it has access to.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

  • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years experience working in a data intensive environment and translating business needs into data requirements

  • 2+ years experience Microsoft Azure stack, SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, Fabric, and/or Machine Learning and AI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 6+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

  • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience working in a data intensive environment and translating business needs into data requirements (experience with Microsoft Azure stack, SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, Fabric, Machine Learning and AI).

  • 3+ years crisis management and resilience experience working in a large multinational organization.

  • 3+ years experience collaborating effectively with PMs, non-technical team members, and other technical SMEs as well as across teams to define and implement sustainable solutions.

  • 3+ years experience leading cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Data Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
