The Farmer's Dog, Inc. Senior Data Analyst 2 in New York, New York

Responsible for synthesizing a wide variety of data sources, trend data and business intelligence to identify opportunities to improve customer retention, product adoption, revenue generation, and thoughtfully planned execution. Create business intelligence analysis tools, maintain the database and generate reports for review by management, clients and stakeholders. Translate complex business questions into concrete learning objectives and data solutions. Work cross functionally to upgrade and optimize our reporting frameworks, launch impactful longitudinal experiments and measure initiatives’ impact on cohort retention and revenue generation. Design sophisticated, cross functional experiments and help build up our arsenal of tools and best practices for experimentation. Empower our cross functional stakeholders with access to data by: modeling and transforming our data in the data warehouse, building capabilities in our BI tooling, building actionable dashboards and reports, and guiding the interpretation of the data. Assist in building best practices and frameworks for Experimentation design and analysis for Customer Experience, Operations and Fulfillment. Determine the methods and procedures for new projects, and act as a team lead, coordinating the activities of other members of the team. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role*Two (2) years of the required experience must have included experience with: calculating statistical significance in order to determine causal relationships; building dashboards in data visualization tools; writing queries SQL dialects; leveraging data science models and predictive analytics to make decisions; transforming data, including outlier detection and handling missing values; leveraging project management tools such as JIRA or Asana to lead projects and coordinate teams or clients; presenting insights and recommendations to executive leadership; mentoring and training colleagues; requirements gathering and roadmap prioritization and forecasting; and analyzing data with SPSS, R, and Python.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.

Minimum Salary: 160,000 Maximum Salary: 180,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
