McKinsey & Company Inc. US is seeking a Senior Analyst in NY, NY. Build python-based end-to-end AI/ML pipelines focusing on supervised, unsupervised, and self-supervised methods, to be deployed in various client situations (e.g., customer channel preference, production optimization, churn predictions, customer segmentation). Develop reliable software around AI algorithms using python packaging, API frameworks, testing frameworks, and UI frameworks. Design and build generative AI workflow and models on selected business use cases having large amounts of textual data, working with the modern generative AI tech stack. Build python-based data loading, preprocessing, and feature engineering pipelines at-scale, using solutions catered to big data. Build visualization dashboards to visualize analytical results, model features, targets, and explainability. Together with data engineers, deploy, maintain, and monitor AI/ML solutions on the cloud, including performing Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) related activities. Design, implement, and deploy data quality solutions for structured data and unstructured data for detection, recommendation, and correction of data quality issues (e.g., completeness, accuracy, timeliness, suitability for GenAI applications). Structure ambiguous business problems, form hypothesis, and synthesize various analyses into clear recommendations in a format convenient for business stakeholders. Gather and advise clients on industry best practices related to data management (e.g., data quality, data lineage, data operating models, data tracing, data transformation strategies). Conduct research to establish industry-wide benchmarks (e.g., related to competitors, 3rd party vendors, climate strategies, decarbonization targets) to inform business decisions in client situations. Conduct research on AI/ML related fields (e.g., Natural Language Processing) to codify into firm assets, share with internal colleagues, and deploy at client situations. Qualified applicants for this position must have a minimum one (1) year of experience developing advanced analytics and data science solutions. Experience must include 1 year of experience in the following: developing industry specific digital solutions; machine learning techniques for supervised, unsupervised, and self-supervised problems; ability to implement optimization methods, e.g. linear optimization; building production-ready software using python packaging standards and frameworks including FastAPI; knowledge of deployment methods, both on-premise and cloud architecture; using database management tools: SQL; using visualization tools: Plotly, PowerBI, and Tableau; coding skills in Python (including data-oriented libraries Pandas and Sklearn); data engineering and processing including advanced and memory-optimized data processing using Spark; data quality assessment and mitigation; building reusable modules for data engineering and data science; basic knowledge of the generative AI tech stack; implementation of Artificial Neural Networks using PyTorch / TensorFlow toolkits for classification and regression tasks in computer vision and text recognition tasks.
