UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Salesforce Application Developer for an onsite role in Manhattan, New York. Candidates with an active LinkedIn account are preferred.
Position: The Salesforce Application Developer will collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and enhance workflow software applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce development, system integration, and application lifecycle management, focusing on delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions for complex projects.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:
As a Salesforce Application Developer, your responsibilities include:
Designing and configuring customer portals and integrating them with AWS web components and print services.
Developing and enhancing Salesforce platform applications using Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.
Automating processes, scheduling batch jobs, and creating flows, Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages/components.
Managing DevOps processes for code documentation, maintenance, and promotion.
Implementing AppExchange solutions and building secure web applications with Multi-Factor Authentication and role-based access control.
Participating in system analysis, design, and requirements sessions.
Integrating Salesforce with other applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
Providing solutions through development to enhance application functionality.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborating with business analysts, quality assurance specialists, and application developers to implement applications.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with application software, data analysis, and development in environments including mainframe, mid-range, and personal computers.
Proven experience with Salesforce development, setup, and configuration using Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.
Salesforce OmniStudio Developer Certified, Platform App Builder Certified, or Platform Developer I Certified.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field.
Advanced certifications or training in application development.
4 years of experience in object-oriented design and relational database design.
Expertise in map-based application development and GIS mapping software (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS).
Proficiency in responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap and JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular.
Prior experience working in federal, state, or local government projects.
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
