Adecco US, Inc. Remote Physician Assistant in New York, New York
Are you a passionate Physician Assistant with experience in clinical assessments and training? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to support the Independent Practitioner Panel (IPP) and lead new clinicians in delivering top-quality care to individuals in need of community-based long-term care services.
Job Type: PRN, must work a minimum of 12 hours per week during company operating business hours.
Business Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-7:00PM
Saturday 10:00AM-6:00PM
Sunday 10:00AM-6:00PM
Work Environment: This position is a hybrid-remote role. You will be traveling to members’ homes to complete the assessment and working in home setting for any closing completion of paperwork. There is no patient contact only interview.
Salary: $80.00-$90.00/hr. Weekly Pay!
What You'll Do:
Conduct Clinical Appointments: Perform clinical evaluations through Telehealth or in-person assessments of consumers who are eligible for long-term care services, ensuring the highest quality of care.
Precept New Clinicians: Train and mentor new clinicians on reviewing and evaluating the completed Community Health Assessment tool, issuing practitioner's orders, and applying clinical best practices.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes to ensure that assessments are conducted according to the latest standards and quality measures.
Collaborate with Managers: Work closely with the manager to identify areas for process improvement, enhance the quality of care, and suggest training needs for the team.
Provide Technical Assistance: Offer clinical and educational support to assigned unit staff, ensuring staff is well-equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Lead Initiatives: Participate in work groups, lead projects, and provide messaging and training to enhance program delivery.
Quality Assurance: Engage in performance improvement and quality assurance activities to ensure program goals are met.

What We’re Looking For:
A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a New York Board Certified Physician Assistant.
At least one (1) year of experience in training, precepting, or providing clinical guidance, including field-based work.
Preferred specialties include Internal Medicine, Adult Health, Community Health, Family Practice, or Psychiatry.
Experience working with adult/geriatric populations, home care, or individuals with physical or developmental disabilities is highly valued.
Active New York State Physician Assistant license.
Must have or be willing to obtain a New York Medicaid ID Number.
At least 3,600 hours of PA experience.
Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned region for field assessments.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $9.00 per hour
