What we do:
The Federal Reserve Bank of NY’s Markets Group mission is to implement market operations, monitor and analyze global financial market developments, execute lender of last resort operations for the Second district and collateral valuation services to the Federal Reserve System (FRS), provide infrastructure and financial services for foreign and international monetary authorities, and to provide capital market-related fiscal agency services to the U.S. Treasury.
The Product, Strategy & Support (PS&S) team is responsible for collaborating with Markets leadership to support the development of business strategy, define the strategic vision for the Market Group’s technology Products and for ensuring the portfolio of initiatives aligns with and provides value to the Group’s mission and objectives. The team further ensures the delivery of functionality fully meets the needs of the users, the adoption and ongoing use of products and services maximizes benefit, and the requisite support activities is reliable throughout the full product lifecycle.
Your role as Reference and Market Data Associate Director:
Accountablefor operational pricing and reference data availability and data quality
Partner with Vendor Management and business to manage market data needs and vendor contracts
Manages relationship with Markets Risk Management and drives resolution of any event that occur on an ongoing basis
Develop, prioritize, and execute strategies and plans that support pricing and reference data
Lead a team, providing direct coaching, facilitating upskilling, and building a strong teamculture, in ways that enhance the broader PS&S team
What we are looking for:
Subject Matter Expert on price content management. This includes asset class coverage, knowledge of all vendors in the space, comprehensive understanding of pricing methodology, and the differences between vendors, accuracy measurement, and socializing the state of pricing within the space to the client base
Experienced people leader, including through times of organizational change
Superior written, oral, and PowerPointcommunication skills to facilitate conceptual problem-solving and senior stakeholder alignment
Highly organized, structured and accountable, with the ability tofluidly navigate ambiguous, high change, and high stakesenvironments
Ownership mindset with bias for action
Experience working in Agile environments
Background in finance, business, product and/or technology; previous consulting experiencea plus
Salary Range: $230000 - $290000 / year
