The Opportunity

We are seeking a Public Relations Coordinator, Firm Recognition/Surveys to join our Firm. This position will be based in our New York office and has a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

As the Public Relations Coordinator, Firm Recognition/Surveys you will:

  • Work across Firm practice areas to support awards nominations and directories submissions by researching deals and cases for use in connection with awards opportunities and various directories.
  • Assist with identifying recognition opportunities for new and lateral partners.
  • Work with the media team to develop attorney information for use in awards and media pitches.
  • Coordinate client reference collection process, primarily for Chambers USA.
  • Monitor directories reference outreach and results across all offices. Follows up with attorneys and marketing staff in other offices to provide updates and additional outreach.
  • Interface and develop relationships with publication editors and researchers in connection with awards, directories, and surveys.
  • Draft initial awards nominations and directories submissions, as needed.
  • Gather and prepare information for data analysis: Review directories results and assist with preparing rankings summaries (narrative and numeric). Review awards results (firm and peers) and prepare summaries.
  • Research awards and directory participation and related marketing efforts by peer firms.
  • Write initial drafts highlighting recognition results (firm-wide, practice-specific, individual) for internal/external distribution.
  • Assist managers in preparing and refining various templates regarding all Firm Recognition processes and best practices to be used for quality control and training.
  • Work with various departments to gather information needed for firm and practice surveys (American Lawyer, NLJ, Law360, etc.)
  • Assist team with Firm Recognition calendar updates: Review overdue entries and missing information, and follow up with marketing owners in various offices.
  • Assist with ensuring all award and directory narratives are captured in the Marketing database (Foundation).
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manage Firm resources responsibly.
  • Comply with and understand Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of two years' related experience in a professional services or legal setting

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Salary Details

$75,000 - $85,000
