As Manager, Proposals, your primary role is to deliver high quality proposals that meet our client’s business KPIs while telling the Publicis Health Clinical Trial Experience (CTE) story.

WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO

As a member of the growth team, the Manager, Proposals is responsible for becoming an expert in all things Publicis Health CTE, by merging strong writing and storytelling to convey how our CTE capabilities can lead to outcomes that meet and exceed the needs of our client’s business. They are partnering with the Head of Proposals & Partnerships to expand and grow the business by developing high quality proposals that harness the depth and breadth of the Publicis Health CTE offering.

The Manager, Proposals responsibilities are outlined in the key areas below:

  • Support the development of Agency case studies and credential presentations.

  • Create comprehensive outlines for proposal responses, ensuring all client requirements are addressed

  • Conduct research to support proposal content in partnership with Strategy team

  • Author clear, concise, and compelling proposal sections; edit content for accuracy, coherence, consistency, and compliance.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts across Publicis Health to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.

  • Input into tactical recommendations based on approved strategy of recruitment and retention.

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of RFPs ensuring proactive management of internal and client expectations, inclusive of deliverable dates and work with senior team members on out-of-scope requests

  • Verify that all proposal components meet address evaluation criteria while managing to convey how our approaches will deliver

  • Compile, format, and maintain all proposal documents and related materials in an organized manner that meet brand standards

  • Facilitate internal review and approval processes to ensure all stakeholders provide feedback and sign off on proposal content.

  • Collate and assess client feedback on responses to amend initial submissions and improve future submissions

  • Prepare internal budget requests for completion by Business Management for senior team review

  • Responsible for the timely follow-up of assigned proposals to ensure conversion

Qualifications

YOUR BACKSTORY

  • 2-3 years new business experience / proposal writing experience

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education

  • Ad agency experience is a big plus; healthcare experience (and/or enjoyment) would be helpful too; knowledge of clinical trials is a triple-bonus score

  • Meticulous attention to detail; we are an eagle-eyed team that crosses every “t” and finds every missed period

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and take direction from others

  • Personal accountability for on-time, high-quality execution against tight deadlines

  • Flexible self-starter who has an appetitive to grow and take on new challenges

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $58,500 - $92,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
