Robert Half Property Administrator in New York, New York

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Property Administrator role based in New York. This role is integral to our operations, where you'll be responsible for the management of properties, with a particular focus on the Columbia campus. You'll be expected to report to the General Manager and interact with diverse teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage properties on the Columbia campus, ensuring that all facilities are running efficiently and safely.

• Coordinate and schedule meetings with various teams to discuss updates, issues, and solutions related to property management.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Microsoft Excel to keep track of all financial transactions related to the properties.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and other accounting functions, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook for correspondence, documentation, and other administrative tasks.

• Handle insurance matters related to the properties, ensuring all properties are appropriately covered.

• Respond promptly to any inquiries or issues related to the properties and resolve them in a timely manner.

• Regularly review and update property records, ensuring all information is accurate and current.

• Work closely with the General Manager and other team members to improve property management processes and operations.

• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure they are in good condition and meet all required standards. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is preferred

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Outlook

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Excellent written correspondence skills

• Ability to handle documentation tasks effectively

• Knowledge of insurance-related matters in the context of property administration
