Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

Manages and coordinates multi-discipline MEP design and construction phase service on both an internal and external basis. Acts as liaison between our client (owners/primes) and the firm. Coordinates with owner/client representatives. Assures project’s quality control and quality assurance standards. Ensures project design and construction issues are addressed and resolved to the benefit and satisfaction of the owner/client. Supports the development of project scope, scheduling and budget, and/or construction estimating. Supports the development of business in region by pursuing new contacts and open communication with the current client base. Supports Director, Project Management, with business development as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with owner/client representatives.

• Assure project’s quality control and quality assurance standards.

• Resolve project design and construction issues to the benefit and satisfaction of the owner/client.

• Support the development of project scope, scheduling, and budget, and/or construction estimating.

• Pursue new contacts and maintain open communication with the current client base.

• Support business development efforts as needed.

Essential Skills

• B.S. in Engineering

• Around 8 years of experience in design and construction administration of vertical and horizontal construction.

• Proven record of leadership responsibility and expertise including decision making, flexibility, problem-solving, reasoning, strategic thinking, and accountability.

• Basic understanding of multi-discipline systems and installation including MEP, fire protection and fire alarms, and low voltage/communications/data work.

• Proven record of effectively managing projects.

• Demonstrated knowledge of capital planning and assessment, cost-benefit analysis, planning and evaluation, and risk management protocols.

• Aviation/Transportation project experience required.

• Proficiency in Revit and MicroStation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• P.E License

• Experience providing design and construction services for MEP, fire protection and alarms, and low voltage/special systems for aviation, transportation, educational, and healthcare-related buildings and facilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00
