TITLE: Product ManagerEMPLOYER:Stripe, Inc. DUTIES:Identify, develop, or evaluate product development strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors; Engage deeply with early adopters and potential customers to validate products or early prototypes and bring insights back into product development; Closely partner with engineering teams to design and deliver new products and features; Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services; Develop the strategy for one of Stripe’s core products and get feedback on the plans directly from Stripe’s leadership team; Drive the overall vision, product strategy, and roadmaps for developer products; Define product requirements, metrics, and targets; Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections; Develop pricing strategies, balancing company objectives and customer satisfaction; Execute on product roadmap; Develop a compelling vision, find product market fit and scale Stripe’s lending products; Plan, direct, or coordinate product development policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by our company and its competitors; Conduct market and customer research to identify potential investment and partnership opportunities in the developer space; Work closely with user researchers to define and run customer development studies to validate hypotheses and to understand developer pain points; Work closely with developer relations & developer marketing to coordinate product releases and evangelize the new product offerings to customers through demos, documentation, and alike to increase awareness and adoption.LOCATION:New York, NY (and various unanticipated work locations across the U.S.)REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5 years of related industry experience.Position also requires the following:5 years of experience in developer advocacy, product management, or software engineering.5 years of experience in using or building SDKs, APIs, or other development tools.5 years of experience with SQL or similar analytical tools.4 years of experience in working with complex, interconnected systems.4 years of experience in working with financial products.SALARY:$238,000 - $248,000/year.CONTACT:To be considered, applicants must send resume to ad-reply@stripe.com referencing job code 4658824.
