Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager for Procurement, the Analyst supports all aspects of the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring consistent implementation across CUFO departments.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Documentation & Coordination: Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and other procurement documents.
- Manage the RFP process, including timelines, proposal distribution, vendor evaluation meetings, and award communications.
- Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure compliance with University and CUFO policies.
- Analyze current procurement processes, propose improvements, and assist with developing internal controls.
- Contract Management: Assist in drafting, executing, and managing contracts and amendments.
- Oversee purchase orders, change orders, and vendor onboarding.
- Reporting & Data Management: Create performance reports for managerial review, maintain procurement key performance indicators, and manage the vendor database for accurate and accessible reporting.
- Documentation & Policy Development: Document procurement policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Special Projects: Support ad hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, with 2-4 years of related experience.
- General understanding of the capital construction process.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of integrity, attention to detail, and proactive approach to tasks.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Capacity to translate solutions into actionable policies and procedures
