Citigroup Process Engineer Sr Ld Analyst in New York, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Process Engineer Senior Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Work with stakeholders of all levels to develop critical transformation and cross-business strategic initiatives. Lead the development of the strategy for Personal Banking organization, setting goals, objectives, roadmap, and timeline. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of our markets, competitors, and customers using internal and external resources. Collaborate with business leaders and product managers to identify growth opportunities and optimization needs. Provide evidence-based recommendations on key initiatives such as market entry, product pricing, cost reduction, organization effectiveness, and market intelligence. Conduct in-depth data analysis on business and management cases to support key business transformation and strategic initiatives. Develop a data-driven framework to monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness the strategic execution. Gather and analyze data, interpret results, develop solutions, and summarize for the team in a succinct presentation-ready format. Own the project plan, maintain repository of relevant data, ensure clear documentation of the team’s analysis and findings, track delivery against action items and milestones, and escalate risks as necessary along with proposed mitigation actions. Use Excel and other data analytics or modeling tools to analyze business data and visualize the findings. Strategic communication. Communicate strategic initiatives to senior stakeholders. Develop executive level reports and presentations. Translate data into easy-to-understand insights that enable efficient decision-making and productive discussions. Present project deliverables and strategic research findings at high-visibility meetings. Lead the development of CEO and Board-level presentations and other ad hoc requests as necessary. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business, Economics, Psychology or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Strategy Analyst, Corporate Strategy Analyst, Management Analyst or related position involving Excel-based modeling and analytics for the global financial services industry. 5 years of experience must include: Conducting market and competitive intelligence; Utilizing excel-based modeling and analytics to analyze large data-set provided by lines of business; Project management, including developing project plans, creating project roadmaps, tracking project progress, and identifying and escalating risks and issues; Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial statements, markets, competitors, and customers utilizing S&P Capital IQ, SEC filings (e.g., 10-K), regulatory agency data depositories, competitor earnings calls and transcripts, and industry thought leadership pieces; Data analysis and visualization; and Strategic planning, including scoping efforts intended to drive strategic priorities, hosting and facilitating discovery sessions, assembling strategic initiative teams, developing and implementing initiative roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
