As a Principal Technical Program Manager in JP Morgan Chase, Corporate & Investment Bank's, Digital & Platform Services team, you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders. This role reports into the Head of the D&PS Strategy and Client Relationship Management (CRM) implementation lead. The newly formed team functions as a strategic accelerator driving execution of strategic initiatives, with a focus of leading the implementation of the CRM program. Given the importance and scale of this transformation, as part of this role you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our most senior leaders across the business.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple technical programs and projects from inception to completion. Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage operating model - responsible for documentation, implementation, change management and ongoing strategy and planning. Maintain and monitor list of key program-level dependencies including across application groups and proactively track through to completion. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives, key results (OKRs) and report on program outcomes, prioritizing the book of work against key milestones and managing team capacity accordingly.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations. Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Advise and influence senior leaders and business executives on key business decisions required and major change initiatives. Develop deep, trust-based advisor relationships with key client stakeholders in management, Global Technology and the Lines of Business to drive delivery and achieve organizational alignment and buy-in

  • Provide strategic guidance and framework to supporting business, operations, data product, and technology teams to drive delivery of firm initiatives. Develop a solid working knowledge of the CIB products, applications, architecture and dependent products. Evaluate and recommend technologies and solutions that align with business objectives. Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

  • Collaborate with your team to build frameworks, content, hypothesis sets, analyses, and roadmaps for solutions. Develop junior team members both formally and informally, including serving as a mentor.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations

  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions

  • Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives

  • Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence), and techniques, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

  • Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments

  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep expertise in technology enabled program delivery and/or COO technology delivery experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics, proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Experience leading complex data architecture projects supporting system design, testing and operational stability
