Full Job DescriptionPosition OverviewOur tech / consultancy client is looking for a dynamic PR Specialist to join their team on a freelance basis. This role starts asap and will be remote, around 15-20 hours per week. The hours will fluctuate from week to week depending on workload.This role is designed for a professional who excels in managing media relations and creating impactful public relations strategies that enhance the brand's visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing high-profile, targeted media placements and will have a solid understanding of thought leadership and a knack for building relationships within the industry.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the marketing team to align pitches and outreach with their overall brand and content strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and visibility within the executing and tech industry spaces.Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to promote our brand and services.Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers to secure coverage and amplify brand messaging.Create compelling pitches for media outreach and thought leadership opportunities.Monitor industry trends and news to identify potential PR opportunities and challenges.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.Prepare press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials as needed.Analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and media coverage.QualificationsProven experience in media relations and public relations, ideally in a freelance capacity.Strong skills in pitching and securing media placements.Ideally you have established relationships with editors and journalists across publications frequented by Fortune 100 executives.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships within industry media.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Deep understanding of industry knowledge and current trends.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Nice to have: Established network within the media landscape, tech industry insights, and experience working with Fortune 100 companies.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.BenefitsCreative Circle's Freelance Employee benefits package includes eligibility for Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) medical plan, dental/vision/term life package, discount prescription program, critical illness, accident, tele-behavioral health, and 401(k) plan.
