New York University Post Doctoral Associate - Summer 2024 (Dr. Bei Wu) in New York, New York

New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing is committed to development of the next generation of nurse scientists and is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral role for Fall 2024 for a two-year appointment. The position involves postdoctoral work in conducting large-dataset analyses using advanced statistical models. Experience in the use of various datasets, e.g., Medicare and Medicaid administrative data (CMS), UK Biobank, is also desirable. The postdoctoral associate will engage in conducting and running analysis, reporting the study results, publishing, presenting, and grant-writing, in addition to advancing their own area of research. The postdoctoral associate will be under the mentorship and direction of Prof. Bei Wu and receive professional development and academic networking opportunities. The position is available immediately and will be open until filled.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

  1. Earned or nearing completion PhD or equivalent in epidemiology, biostatistics, nursing, quantitative psychology, health economics, or other health-related fields.
