Description We are in search of a Payroll Manager to join our team based in New York. This role primarily involves managing payroll functions and coordinating with our accounting team. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of payroll, including new hires and terminations

• Use Dayforce for input and calculation of pay, including situations such as severance and leave of absence

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to employee pay

• Generate a semi-monthly payroll register for review and approval by HR and Accounting teams

• Utilize Ceridian Dayforce payroll software and other accounting systems for payroll management

• Apply knowledge of US and UK payroll regulations and procedures

• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee payroll records

• Administer 401k - RRSP and other benefit functions

• Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance

• Handle inquiries related to payroll from employees and management. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Ability to navigate Ceridian

• Proficient in Crystal Reports

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Knowledge of About Time

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated skills in Auditing

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions

• Experience with Ceridian Payroll System

• Proven expertise in Payroll Management
