Overview
SHIFT: Sunday - Thursday 11:00PM - 7:30AM
Prepare surfaces for painting, paint interior and exterior of buildings, and perform drywall repair/replacement using a wide variety of equipment. Create color samples to determine proper matching of colors and mix paints per paint codes. Finish surfaces using sandpaper, pumice, wax and other materials.
Responsibilities
Required Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred Education:
Trade school education.
Required Experience:
Four years as a skilled painter.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
The ability to work effectively in an environment subject to frequently changing priorities, and work outdoors in inclement weather and to physically cope with extreme weather conditions. The ability to follow through and carry out assignments, using problem solving skills and sound judgment. The ability to lift large, heavy (50-100 lbs.) and bulky items, stand, bend, stoop and lift for long periods of time, climb a 20-foot ladder, and work in confined areas.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $49.186. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
