Our client, a large nonprofit organization focused on religion is currently seeking a freelance Paid Media Coordinator to join their digital marketing team.This is a hybrid role onsite/remote in NYC, 35 hrs/week for about 6 months with strong potential to extend or convert based on performance and organizational need.Joining the digital marketing team as the paid media associate, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of all digital marketing efforts, helping to execute and optimize on paid media campaigns across various digital channels including social media, search, display, and programmatic platforms. In this role, you'll be assisting with campaign setup, monitoring, and basic optimization to ensure the smooth execution of paid media strategies.Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Senior Digital Strategist and collaborate with internal marketing and creative teams as well as external vendors to execute and improve paid media campaigns- Assist in the setup and programming of paid media campaigns across various platforms, including Meta, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms- Implement audience targeting and ad placements as directed by the Senior Digital Strategist- Ensure accurate tagging and tracking for campaign performance monitoring- Monitor live campaigns to ensure proper delivery and performance- Assist with basic optimizations, such as adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting parameters under the guidance of the Strategist- Identify and escalate performance issues or opportunities for improvement- Compile performance data and assist in preparing reports on key campaign metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks, conversions)- Contribute to post-campaign analyses to evaluate outcomes and identify learnings- Work closely with creative teams to ensure timely delivery of assets for campaigns- Communicate with external vendors and platform representatives to address issues or gather insights- Support cross-departmental collaboration to align paid media efforts with broader organizational goals- Stay updated on platform updates, best practices, and industry trends- Assist in testing new ad formats, targeting capabilities, and emerging platformsRequirements:- 3 years of experience in digital advertising, paid media, or a related field- Experience and/or passion for mission driven work / caused based work- Hands-on experience with ad platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or similar tools- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand performance metrics and interpret data is preferredNice to have:- Familiarity with programmatic platforms and audience segmentation tools - Knowledge of A/B testing and performance optimization techniques - Experience in nonprofit marketing or mission-driven organizations In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
